Twitter recently launched new Blue subscription plans for Android and web in six different countries. And just days after announcing the plans, the Elon Musk-led company has announced a significant change coming to Twitter in the coming months.
Elon Musk recently announced on Twitter that his social media company will “translate and recommend amazing tweets” coming from people from different countries and cultures. In the same episode, Musk also said that Twitter would translate tweets before recommending them to users. Simply put, if Twitter thinks a tweet written in Japanese is “interesting” or “amazing”, it will automatically translate it and then recommend it to users.

According to Musk, Twitter’s new way of recommending tweets will be rolled out in the coming months. In addition to a new way to recommend Tweets, Twitter is also working on longer-form Tweets, a video chat feature, and many more, and those are expected to arrive in the “coming months.”
Twitter recently launched a dedicated bookmarks button for iOS users, allowing them to save tweets to a bookmark list directly from tweet details. When your Tweet is bookmarked, it will be considered a “partial like”. In an upcoming release, Twitter will improve this further by allowing users to see how many times their tweets have been bookmarked. In short, Twitter will be getting a ton of new features and improvements over the coming months.
