Welcome to this week’s edition of Raw Preview. This is the third episode of Raw in just half a month, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the direction of the new WWE reign.
There have been returns, surprises and big moves on both Raw and SmackDown. The Red Brand is undoubtedly the more entertaining show this year, despite not being world champion for over four months.
What was the role of Dexter Loomis in the car accident that happened on Raw last week?
Dexter Loomis was one of several names on the WWE release list, with fans saddened by his release. However, with Vince McMahon leaving, Triple H has made sure to re-sign several big names, and Dexter Loomis is one of them.
Last week, the story of the car crash began, and there were a lot of mysteries that could be behind it. AJ Styles defeated The Miz in the main event of Raw, and as he celebrated, he was shocked by what happened in the front row of the audience. Dexter Loomis, with a mad look in his eyes, was forcefully taken away by security.
While there was no confirmation that he was behind the car accident, adding two more meant that he was the first person suspected. The star will now play a bigger role in the future.
Bobby Lashley defends the US Title against AJ Styles in the first match
Bobby Lashley has secured his second US Title defense in seven days, and his third in a little over 15 days. He is an active champion, and last week, he successfully defended the US Title against Ciampa in the Instant Classic.
The Miz almost helped Ciampa win, but AJ Styles came out to counter The Miz, and it looks like he’s being rewarded for it. Unfortunately, there is no build-up to this match – one that would be considered WrestleMania-worthy.
That would be a bit of a surprise, but a title change is pretty much on the cards, given Styles’ caliber.
Alexa Bliss and Asuka face Nikki A.S.H. More Dewdrop in the Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament
The women’s tag team tournament will continue this week as Nikki A.S.H. And Dewdrop will team up to face the newly formed team of Asuka and Alexa Bliss. Asuka and Bliss have been added to their feud with Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair against Bayley, Dakota Kai and Io Skye. Kai and Sky have also advanced into the tournament, and the trio will face Belair, Asuka and Bliss in a clash at Castle.
It will be interesting to see who wins the first round match of the tournament. Asuka and Bliss would undoubtedly be expected to emerge victorious, but the appearance of Dakota Kai and Io Skye could change that.
What’s in Judgment Day for The Mysterious?
Last week, Finn Balor defeated Rey Mysterio once again. Rhea Ripley also added insult to injury when she took out the beaten-down Dominic Mysterio, who was expected to be at ringside with her father.
Damien Priest called for a match against Edge on the Red Brand on August 22 as it would take place in Toronto, Canada. This will be Edge’s first match in Canada in twelve-and-a-half years.
What will happen on Judgment Day, a week before the first match?
Riddle for the exclusive interview on RAW
The King of Bros. is about to make its first appearance on Raw shortly. His last appearance in WWE was 15 days ago at SummerSlam 2022. Although his match against Seth Rollins was postponed due to an injury, Riddle called out his opponent before essentially taking out his opponent.
We’ll have an exclusive interview with the former Tag Team Champion this week, where he’ll likely give an update on his health and when he returns to the ring.
