Images have surfaced of Angelina Jolie’s injuries allegedly sustained in a fight with ex Brad Pitt during an altercation in September 2016 on a private jet.
The Oscar winner submitted photographs of his hand and elbow injury to the FBI investigation into the incident that ended their marriage.
As Page Six reported, according to the FBI report, Jolie told investigators that Pitt, who had been drinking, yelled at her in a restroom on a flight back from Nice, France, to the US.
She alleged that Pitt “grabbed her by her head,” “grabbed her by the shoulders,” shook her, pushed her into the bathroom wall and yelled at her, “You’re the king of this family.”
His two minor children, whose names were edited out in the report, “were crying outside the door and asking, ‘Are you okay, Mom?,'” he claimed.
Pitt reportedly shouted in response, “‘No, Mom is not well. She’s ruining this family. She’s crazy,'” the report said.
According to Jolie, that comment prompted one of her children to retaliate: “It’s not him, it’s you, you’re P-K,” she said, which enraged Pitt. The actress then alleged that she saw him running towards one of the children “like he was going to attack,” at which point she said that she put Pitt in a chokehold that he threw himself back and killed her. Tried to break them by pushing into the chairs behind them.
Jolie alleged that she suffered back and elbow injuries as a result and shared a photo of her elbow injury with the FBI.
Black-and-white photocopies of photographs are included in the report, as well as handwritten pages provided by Jolie, purportedly from her children, containing details of the incident. Handwritten pages are mostly edited.
During the fight, Jolie also claimed that Pitt said one of her children “looks like a f-ing Columbine kid,” as we reported.
Jolie also reported in the report that Pitt continued to drink during the two-legged trip, later pouring beer on her.
After they arrived in Los Angeles, the pair reportedly had a physical altercation and claimed that Pitt prevented her and the children from getting off the plane for 20 minutes.
In addition to her back and elbow, the report said Jolie also had a “carpet-like burn” on her left arm. A photograph of the wound is included in the revised report.
Jolie reports that a bruise on Pitt may have been caused by her, although she believed he had more in the chokehold. After the FBI completed the investigation in November 2016, Pitt was not arrested or charged in connection with the incident.
According to the report, after reviewing a probable cause statement relating to the incident, a representative from the US Attorney’s Office “discussed the merits of this investigation with the [FBI] case agent.”
“All parties agreed that criminal charges would not be pursued in this case due to a number of factors,” the report said.
In April, Jolie asked for a report into the investigation – anonymously as Jane Doe – to find out why Pitt was never charged.
As we reported this week, sources close to Pitt said both sides had the same report for almost six years, adding that she was using it for a media stunt. Although they are now legally divorced, the former are embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their minor children.
