Microsoft recently added a new camry channel to the Windows Insider program so users can try out new features as they’re ready. However, it appears that Microsoft seeks users’ consent to test new features when they are ready.
Microsoft is testing a new setting in the recently released Canary Build 25314 to allow users to try out new features “as soon as they’re ready”. The new toggle switch is called “Get the latest updates for your PC as soon as they’re ready.” And it can be found on the Windows Update page. When you enable the toggle switch, you’re giving Microsoft permission to push out new features “as soon as they’re ready.”
Microsoft is testing the feature internally. However, you can enable the toggle switch using ViveTool. For those who don’t know, ViveTool is a useful third-party tool that allows Windows 11 users to enable new features that are unavailable to Windows Insiders. You can follow the steps below to enable the “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re ready for your PC” toggle switch.
Windows 11 is getting a handy setting to choose whether you want to get the latest updates as soon as they’re ready, based on the feature name it’s a quick toggle to get Moments (and other C/D releases) ASAP . hidden in the canary 25314

How to enable the “Get the latest updates for your PC as soon as they’re ready” toggle switch in Windows 11
- Download ViveTool GUI from GitHub,
- Install the app.
- Open the app and find Features ID 43132439,
- enable it.
After following the steps, restart your Windows 11 PC to complete the process. After restarting, open the Settings app and go to the Windows Update page, and you’ll see a toggle switch. However, it is unclear whether the toggle switch will be available for all inside channels in the future. We will get more clarity on this in the coming days.
