Microsoft has released Edge version 111.0.1661.54 for users in the stable channel, which includes sidebar features improvements, security fixes, and no other new features or changes.

Microsoft Edge version 111.0.1661.54 allows administrators to disable the Discover app and still keep the sidebar. In doing so, the admin is giving Edge permission to display the sidebar, not the Discover app. When an administrator enables the sidebar, enterprise users can choose to ‘Always show’ or ‘Auto hide’. To change sidebar settings, you can type ‘edge://settings/sidebar’ in the browser URL box.
