Downton Abbey is a historical drama. Two years ago, Carnival Films and ITV Studios announced that Season 6 was the final finale of the historical period drama series.

But the show’s creator, Julian Fellowes, has hinted in a cryptic interview that there could be a Season 7 of the series.

However, according to a report online, one of the cast candidly revealed to one of the journalists that season 7 will cover events from the post-World War II era to modern times.

Critics and fans have praised Downton Abbey for depicting events from the past and presenting the facts in a fair and accurate manner.

They will enjoy the most important events making history in an entertaining way.

The makers haven’t announced the official dates yet. But there are chances that we might see season 7.

And there’s the potential for a spin-off or maybe even a full season if we’re lucky enough!

From a story point of view, it would be more satisfying than any other film, but the latest news has led them to make it a film and not a series as I just mentioned above.

5 Best Downton Abbey Moments

Although, There are countless terrifying moments in Downton Abbey. So, to cut it short for you, I’m listing 5 of my favorite Downton Abbey moments of all time.

1) Day at the beach

Throughout 6 seasons, Downton Abbey portrays love in many shades. From Mrs. Hedges’ total devotion to Mr. Carson to a passionate love affair with the young Crawleys. You see an aspect of love in their journey.

In Season 4 Episode 8, Mrs. Hedges and Mr. Carson paddle out on the ocean together. Besides, when Mrs. Hughes offered her hand to Mrs. Cresson, the happy smile on both of their faces won my heart. It was very satisfying to my eyes.

2) Mr. Pamuk’s Follies

When Mr. Pamuk arrives at the Crawleys in the third episode of the series, he suffers a heart attack. It was strange to see him lying on Mary’s bed at that moment.

3) Mr. Bates Homecoming

if you have seen By Season 6 of the Downton Abbey TV series, you may be aware of Mr. and Mrs. Bates’ struggles. He was deeply shocked. He was wrongly accused of crimes he never committed. This is a never ending list. It goes on and on.

When Mr. Bates is released from wrongful imprisonment in Season 3 Episode 7, the joyous hug between Anna and him was one of my most memorable moments.

i don’t know if there will be Downton Abbey season 7 or not.
