PARIS, Dec 5 (Reuters) – French Health Minister Francois Braun said on Monday that a decision on whether to make face-mask wearing mandatory again in public transport to prevent a new surge in the COVID-19 pandemic would depend on the development of the situation .
“I invite people to wear masks in public transport, even if it is not mandatory,” he told reporters during a tour of a French hospital.
“The decision (whether to make it mandatory) will depend on the evolution of the pandemic,” Braun said.
