She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has made its way into homes across the country with a strong first episode that highlights what happened between Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) and her cousin Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo). How perfect was the sitcom format for? The premiere focused heavily on showing us how She-Hulk came to be, but outside of the primary story there exists something that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has excelled at for a while — the post credits scene.
Each episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has its own unique post-credits scene. Speaking of this post-credits stingers, the MCU has two categories: story progression and silly fun. Now, we’ve seen a slew of episodes and can confirm that everything we’ve seen so far falls under the “silly fun” category, but that doesn’t mean we’ll get some visceral stuff as the series continues. Won’t get punches.
As She-Hulk: Attorney at Law progresses, we’ll update this post with a breakdown of each weekly credits scene. And, don’t worry, we’ll be airing them to the public in series form so there are no surprises!
Episode 1: A Normal Amount of Rage – America’s Donkey
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has already answered some burning MCU questions in its first week. But, the most important of them has nothing to do with Smart Hulk. No. The most important revelation in “A Normal Amount of Rage” can be summed up by Jane’s delighted announcement: “Captain America f&%$s!” (Or, more accurately, “Captain America f——!” This is Disney, after all).
Trying to comfort his seemingly drunk and distraught cousin, Bruce reveals that Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) has no reason to cry. Super Soldier lost his virginity in WWII before going under the ice! Jane, of course, was playing to reveal it, but the real question is, does Peggy Carter (Haley Atwell) know? And who was it with? And how did Bruce Banner get this information? I’m sure this was before the Avengers Party of Ultron crashed…
Sure, there were ultimately many questions, but let me leave one more question for you: is this true?
Steve Rogers himself has been tight-lipped on the issue, but you can bet that once Hayley Atwell gets wind of the story she’ll tease it a fair amount! As for canon, that mystery just seems to be solved. But you’re not alone in your doubts, Steggy purists!
