Ever since Microsoft integrated ChatGPT into Bing, people have suddenly become interested in Microsoft’s search tool. In the new AI Bing Chat, many people are turning to it for help with various things. Although Bing Chat has created a sensation, Microsoft’s developer team is facing some challenges in providing the best experience.
A number of users recently complained that they were seeing “something went wrong” error messages after opening Bing Chat. Acknowledging the issue, Mikhail Parakhin, currently working at Microsoft, said the company is working on a fix. As Parakhin said, the reason behind the error message was the “increased load” of Bing Chat.
Microsoft’s Parakhain also pointed out that there were five main factors related to the increased load, and that the developer team has made fixes for three of them and mitigations for the other two. However, Microsoft didn’t comment on when this will be fixed for everyone. Hopefully, it won’t take more than a few days for the Bing Chat experience to return to normal.
Sorry for the “something went wrong” error message that some of you may see on Bing Chat. This is due to five main factors related to increased load, we have corrections for three of them and mitigations for the other two. Please bear with us.

Microsoft is slowly moving people through the waiting list and making the new Bing Chat option available to more people. In other words, more and more people are accessing Bing Chat every day, which explains the “increased load”. After huge feedback from users, Microsoft will definitely improve the overall experience so that Bing Chat will be unaffected by increased load in future.
