A source close to Yung Gravy told Page Six that he believes the celebrity rapper’s romance with Addison Rae’s mother, Sherry Nicole Easterling, is nothing more than a “viral bat.”
“It’s a PR affair. It’s a kiss, but it’s not real,” the source claimed.
He added that 26-year-old Yung Gravy usually goes for “young f-king blonde girls like Tana Mongyu,” adding, “I don’t think he’s just lusting after older women in real life. It’s just [not] ] is real.”
The insider further alleged that Yung Gravy – born Matthew Raymond Horie – was actually talking via Instagram with his 25-year-old, blonde female friend.
On Sunday, rapper “Betty” and Easterling, 42, had everyone buzzing when they came together at the 2022 MTV VMAs after splitting from husband, Monty Lopez, 46, over cheating claims.
On the red carpet, Yung Gravy told Page Six that the two met “on the Internet” and “FaceTime” twice before meeting in person.
“I hit him first. I knew about him and I thought he was fine.”
However, the source told us that Easterling may have other reasons as to why she started dating Gravy.
The source indicated that because of Lopez’s alleged affair with 25-year-old Renee Ashe, Easterling is “going to find the youngest boy — and it would be Pete Davidson if she could land him, but best-case scenario Yung Gravy.” ”
Reps for Gravy and Easterling did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
After a night full of PDA, Gravy took to social media to save Easterling from all the internet hate.
“She’s new single and living her life. Leave her alone,” the musician wrote on Twitter in response to a video of her kissing her new love interest on the red carpet.
However, Rai doesn’t think so. A source told Page Six on Tuesday that the TikTok star is “dead” from the drama of his parents.
